The ADOC Elmore County Specialized Men’s Prison is a major justice system investment for the State of Alabama, authorized under recently signed legislation to expand state correctional capacity and enhance inmate care delivery. The project consists of the planning, design, construction, and full build-out of a 4,000-bed specialized care prison designed to consolidate and improve medical and mental health services within the Alabama Department of Corrections system.

Division 12 Consulting served as the FF&E partner for high-density storage solutions, providing:

  • High-Density File Storage systems in partnership with Patterson Pope
  • Layout coordination with the Design-Build team
  • Specification of secure, durable storage equipment meeting stringent corrections facility requirements
  • Procurement, logistics, and on-site installation within secure zones
  • Final inspection and turnover in coordination with HPM and the facility management team

Division 12’s contribution supported the facility’s operational readiness by delivering secure, efficient, and space-optimized storage critical to managing medical, mental health, security, and administrative records.
